We are a fast-growing global reinsurance speciality company servicing the insurance markets of Lloyd’s, Europe and North America.
We are looking for a Claims Handler to join our growing team, focusing on European Motor portfolios, including business originating from the Netherlands, France and wider European jurisdictions.

We are looking for a Claims Handler to join our growing team, focusing on European Motor portfolios, including business originating from the Netherlands, France and wider European jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of international Motor claims, including large and complex cases, ensuring they are handled efficiently and to a high technical standard.
Working closely with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and internal stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in driving claims to resolution while maintaining strong reserving discipline and delivering commercial outcomes
Responsibilities;
• Handling complex, cross-border claims, including disputed, high-value matters and claims involving bodily injury and catastrophic losses
• Reviewing and overseeing claims handled by TPAs, particularly those exceeding authority limits
• Applying strong technical knowledge across liability, coverage and reserving
• Negotiating with counterparties, legal representatives and stakeholders
• Identifying trends and contributing to portfolio performance and savings initiatives
• Supporting due diligence and integration of newly acquired portfolios
• Collaborating across teams to ensure consistent claims handling standards

Candidate requirements
• Right to work in the location you’re applying to
• Proven experience handling Motor claims across European jurisdictions
• Exposure to Dutch and/or French motor portfolios (Essential)
• Strong understanding of motor liability and policy coverage interpretation
• Experience working with or overseeing Third-Party Administrators (TPAs)
• Confidence handling complex or high-value claims
• Solid reserving and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple jurisdictions and competing priorities
• Contributing positively to our culture and values.
• Proven experience handling Motor claims across European jurisdictions
• Exposure to Dutch and/or French motor portfolios (Essential)
