Social Media + Marketing Executive
Job Overview
We’re working with a growing, creative marketing agency looking to hire a Social Media & Marketing Executive to support a portfolio of ambitious fitness, sport, and lifestyle brands. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining creativity with commercial thinking, taking ownership of delivery, and managing multiple brands within a fast-paced agency environment.
Organic social media will sit at the heart of the role, but this position goes beyond day-to-day posting. You’ll play a key role in shaping content strategies that support wider marketing objectives, while staying on top of evolving platforms and trends.
The Basics:
● Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 (depending on experience)
● Working Hours: Full-time
● Location: Remote (with some London, national + international travel)
The Role...
Social Media Strategy & Planning:
Lead the planning and delivery of organic social media across a portfolio of client accounts
Develop organic social media strategies aligned with commercial and marketing objectives
Create structured monthly content plans and campaign concepts
Adapt strategies based on platform changes, trends, and performance insights
Content Creation & Execution:
Write engaging, well-crafted captions with excellent grammar and tone awareness
Design high-quality social graphics and short-form video content
Maintain brand consistency across multiple client accounts
Support creative execution across other marketing channels, including digital assets, email, website content updates, and occasional print materials
Campaigns, Performance + Optimisation:
Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach
Contribute ideas that strengthen campaign thinking and creative standards
Ensure content supports wider marketing and commercial goals
Collaboration + Marketing Support:
Work collaboratively across internal teams and with clients
Confidently present ideas and contribute creatively to broader marketing activity when required.
The Person...
Essential:
At least 3 years’ experience in social media or marketing (agency experience preferred)
Confidence managing multiple accounts simultaneously
Strong understanding of social media strategy and content planning
Excellent written English with meticulous attention to detail
A strong eye for design and visual storytelling
Confident presenting ideas and liaising with clients
Proactive, organised, and eager to continuously improve
Desired:
Experience working within the fitness, sport, or lifestyle sector
Website design experience or broader digital marketing exposure
