We are looking for a proactive, detail‑driven engineer to support the design and development of mechanical components and installations across our electronics systems — both on and off the car.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing mechanical parts, enclosures, tooling, fixtures, and installations for race car and supporting environments.
  • Producing technical and assembly drawings for mechanical, composite, and electronic components.
  • Creating and releasing schematics and CAD schemes for electrical harnesses, components and installations.
  • Specifying components and creating manufacturing documentation for internal and external workshops.
  • Ensuring packaging, cooling, anti‑vibration and regulatory requirements are met for electronic installations.
  • Working closely with design groups to deliver integrated, optimised packaging solutions.
  • Supporting production teams and suppliers with technical queries, updates, and component release.
  • Participating in initial builds to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Collaborating with the electronics workshop and other departments as required.

  • Experience designing carbon fibre components, enclosures, tooling and installations — preferably in motorsport.
  • Proficiency with industry‑standard CAD tools (CATIA 3DX preferred).
  • Strong understanding of harness components and materials.
  • Innovative problem‑solving approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work to demanding schedules.
  • Strong decision‑making skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience with Catia Electrical Workbench, Zuken, or Altium would also be beneficial.
