Finance Business Partner - Technical

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to support our Technical departments within the F1 programme. Within this role, you will business partner senior leadership to provide financial insights and facilitate strategic decision making, helping to maximise car performance within constraints of the Cost Cap.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes for Technical departments
- Deliver accurate financial analysis and insights to support decision making
- Partner with senior stakeholders to optimise spend within FIA cost cap regulations
- Manage and track car development expenditure, including project appraisal and variance analysis
- Develop and enhance reporting tools
- Identify risks and opportunities to budgets, driving proactive mitigation strategies
- Support and challenge stakeholders on capex investment decisions and business cases
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and data accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure aligned and efficient financial planning
- Ensure compliance with FIA Financial Regulations and internal governance standards
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
- Proven experience in finance business partnering within a technical or engineering environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Advanced experience with systems such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across functions
- Motorsport or Formula 1 experience is advantageous
