Enva is a leading provider of recycling and resource recovery solutions, helping businesses and communities across the UK manage their waste responsibly.

We are looking for a Business Support Executive – Broker Desk to join our Commercial Brokerage team. This role plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day administration of the broker desk, ensuring our customers receive a seamless, high-quality service.

Working closely with the broker team and internal departments, you will manage customer enquiries, quotations, bookings, reporting, and sales administration. You will also support the development of strong relationships between brokers, customers, and internal Enva teams, ensuring requests are handled efficiently and proactively.

This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach, helping to deliver a concierge-style service for our broker partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Waste Partner inbox, triaging enquiries, assigning tasks, and monitoring responses.
  • Create and manage task tickets to track enquiries such as quotations, service queries, new installations, invoice queries, price queries, and bookings.
  • Produce quotations and follow up with customers to drive timely resolution.
  • Process bookings and issue confirmations to customers.
  • Provide support to customers on reporting tools, including guidance on self-service reporting.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, including reporting summaries and key contact details.
  • Produce and manage customer and internal reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Manage credit and invoice queries from initial enquiry through to resolution.
  • Create and maintain customer rate cards and ensure they are stored correctly within internal systems.
  • Prepare and issue customer communication packs including key contacts, escalation processes, rate cards, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate information within CRM systems and other internal platforms.
  • Work with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Promote the highest levels of customer service and responsiveness in all interactions.
  • Ensure all sales administration and documentation is processed and filed within agreed timescales.
  • Comply with company health and safety procedures and report any concerns appropriately.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong administrative and customer service skills.

Essential:
  • Good standard of education with strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and time management abilities.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and problem-solving approach.

Desirable:
  • Experience in customer relationship or account management roles.
  • Knowledge of waste regulations or the waste management industry.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and internal reporting tools.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Working Pattern

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Based at the Colwick site for a minimum of four days per week, with flexibility required to support business needs.
  • Occasional travel to other sites or customer locations may be required.
