We are a primary care practice in Suwanee, GA, currently seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our team. Practice Overview:
Located just 20 minutes north of Atlanta, we are situated in a thriving community known for outstanding schools and abundant recreational opportunities—an ideal location for both personal and professional fulfillment.
Specialty Focus:
This role centers on Primary Care services with a concentration in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, serving only adult patients.
Position Details:
Schedule:
- Full-time position with a 4.5-day workweek
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Flexible scheduling options available if needed
- No weekend or major holiday hours
Patient Volume:
- Expect to see 2 new patients or 3 established patients per hour
On-Call:
- Phone call only
- Low call volume
Clinical Scope:
- Management of chronic conditions and acute illnesses
- Emphasis on preventive care
- EClinicalWorks used for EMR
- Medical Dragon One used for dictation
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside a supportive administrative and clinical team including medical assistants, schedulers, nurses, and billing professionals
- Collaborate closely with a trusted network of subspecialty physicians
- Proximity to leading hospitals such as Emory Johns Creek, Northside Hospitals, and Northeast Georgia Medical Center
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Board-certified for established physicians; board-eligible candidates must obtain certification prior to start
- Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and flexibility
- Excellent bedside manner and patient-centered approach
- Proficient in ICD coding and E/M guidelines
- Long-term interest in the position and local area preferred
