Lead Maintenance Technician

Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) is looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position will be split between our Oak Meadows and Springwood Gardens communities. If you have experience or training in residential or commercial maintenance repair, this may be the job for you!

· Makes regular inspections of assigned buildings and facilities to insure it is kept according to requirements.

· Diagnoses existing problems and initiates needed action.

· Plans and schedules necessary maintenance, establishing work and activity priorities.

· Prepares, plans, sketches and carries out projects.

· Maintains an inventory of equipment and supplied and helps with ordering when needed. 

· Performs various maintenance and repair tasks.

· Supervises skilled or semi-skilled employees in maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, cement work, masonry, and other general upkeep which involves furnishings, structures, floor covering, equipment, heating, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and related systems.

· Follows safety regulations and standards, and all policies and procedures.

· Other duties as assigned.

· High School or GED.

· Two years’ experience in general maintenance or other maintenance responsibilities would include the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures.
