The incumbent in this position is responsible for the cleanliness of the area as well as welcoming the guest to the Health Club Area and the pool side.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing procedures for the health club/spa area.
- Controlling usage of sauna, solarium and fitness, pool area.
- Maintaining a clean and organized health club/pool area environment
- Supporting the F & B Outlets in busy times
- Cleaning of bar and service area.
- Scheduling appointments for massages etc.
- Reporting of technical difficulties to the maintenance department.
- Controlling inventory of towels, bathrobes and kitchen towels.
- Supporting the ordering of pool supplies.
- Cleaning of fitness equipment.
- Assisting guest with work out tools and equipment.
- Welcoming the guests to the Health Club Area and assist with show around/explanation of equipment
- Giving out towels and having guest sign in the signature list
- Controlling in-house guests and eventual outside visitors
- Supporting the Lifeguards around the Pool Area with the setup of sun beds, services
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Vocational School Certificate in hospitality or related field
- 1-2 years working experience preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel
- Previous hotel-related experience beneficial
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, hotel personnel and service company representative to their understanding.
- Flexibility in terms of scheduling
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
- Physical ability to handle heavy duties
