We’re looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our Private Client Tax team in Godalming. This is a key, client facing role managing a varied portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals and owner‑managed businesses, while leading advisory work and supporting the development of the wider team.
You’ll work closely with Directors and Partners, delivering high quality personal tax advice, overseeing compliance and playing an active role in the continued growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse private client portfolio
- Leading personal tax advisory work alongside compliance
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and advisers
- Dealing with CGT and IHT planning matters
- Overseeing UK tax returns and complex assignments
- Managing WIP, billing and delivery against deadlines
- Supporting Partners with business development
- Driving improvements to processes and team efficiency
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- ATT and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong private client tax background
- Confident managing client relationships and advisory work
- Experience reviewing work and developing junior staff
- Commercially aware and client focused
