Role Summary
The incumbent supports activities related to the receiving, production registration, and shipping of products at the Montreal studio for a short-term three (3) month contract.
This role ensures the smooth flow of products from arrival through administrative processing and shipment, while maintaining accuracy of information, adherence to established processes, and the required logistics coordination.
This individual will play a key role in maintaining workflow efficiency, product integrity, and service quality standards.

This individual will play a key role in maintaining workflow efficiency, product integrity, and service quality standards.
This position is based at GS1 Canada’s Montreal office and requires on-site presence to support the physical handling of products.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving, Registration, and Shipping of Products
- Perform activities related to receiving, production registration, and shipping of products in accordance with client requirements and internal processes.
- Receive products at the studio, verify incoming shipments, and report any issues or discrepancies as needed.
- Accurately register products in the appropriate systems, ensuring all required information is complete and compliant.
- Track the movement of products between receiving, storage areas, and outgoing shipments.
Logistics and Inventory Management
- Monitor product storage in various environments, including freezer, refrigerator, and room temperature storage.
- Maintain organized receiving, storage, and shipping areas to support operational efficiency and proper product flow.
Quality and Compliance
- Maintain receiving, storage, and shipping areas in compliance with safety standards and 5S methodology requirements.
- Ensure deliverables are completed within established timelines, in accordance with SLAs and KPIs.
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration
- Contribute to improving the efficiency of receiving, registration, and shipping activities, as well as related workflows.
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality customer service.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma required; post-secondary or college studies in logistics, supply chain, or a related field are considered an asset.
- One to two years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, logistics, or operations environment is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), and experience related to inventory management, shipping, or warehouse operations are considered assets.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to identify effective solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality of work.
- Commitment to following safety rules, procedures, and maintaining a safe workplace.
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and moving throughout the day.
