The Role:
This APAC role, based in Hong Kong, is responsible for driving delegate attendance and sales for our portfolio of conferences and awards across the APAC region. You will identify and develop new business opportunities as well as manage and develop a core group of existing clients. You will leverage your relationship-building, client management, and negotiation skills to expand our client base by engaging with prospective clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

Key Responsibilities
You would be responsible for:
- Selling delegate places for events/conferences and awards across APAC.
- Learning about the companies, job roles and industries to ensure you sell to the right people
- Conducting thorough research to source new leads relevant to each event
- Effectively contacting and communicating with all key prospects by telephone, email and face-to-face meetings
- Managing your database and CRM records
- Driving negotiations, handling objections and closing sales to achieve your KPIs
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Have excellent English communication skills – both verbal and written (knowledge of an additional Asian language is a plus)
- Possess sales experience in a business-to-business environment
- Is highly motivated, target / KPI driven
- Is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Has a proficient approach in dealing with senior contacts
- Has strong organisational skills
- Is positive, enthusiastic, outgoing and motivated to succeed
