We are looking for an Admissions Coordinator (Partnerships) to manage a team of 4 Admissions Officers to process applications from our partner colleges. In this role you will work with colleagues in our Centre for Educational Partnerships, our Admissions representatives at our partner colleges and support the wider Admissions team.
Educational partnerships play a critical role in the University’s strategic and academic portfolio and this role is crucial to their success. (This is a full-time, fixed term contract until 30/04/2027)
About the Role
You are a self-motivated, enthusiastic, customer-focussed individual with experience of working in a Higher Education environment, preferably in Admissions. You will support the Head of Admissions and Applicant Support (Partnerships) in ensuring that our policies and processes are understood and adopted by our partner colleges. In addition to this you will look to continuously improve our processes, ensure they are fit for purpose and meet our regulatory requirements and statutory reporting requirements.
You will work closely with the University’s academic departments, partner college Admissions teams and marketing and outreach officers. You will manage the team who assess student applications in a timely and professional manner, inputting admissions decisions into the student records system (SITS), issuing of offers to applicants, chasing applicant decisions and responding to queries.
You will also play a key role in Bath Spa University’s recruitment activities and support Open Days and events.

- An understanding of current developments in Higher Education, preferably in Admissions
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to use technical knowledge and apply this to practical situations
- Ability to network and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
