As a Propulsion Technician (Engine Final Assembly) at Impulse Space, you will support the build and integration of flight-ready rocket engines. This role sits at the very end of the manufacturing process—where precision, discipline, and accountability matter most.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly and integration of rocket engines and propulsion subsystems
- Install critical components including valves, feedlines, injectors, sensors, and avionics interfaces
- Execute precision torqueing, fastening, and sealing operations on flight hardware
- Perform alignment, fit checks, and final configuration prior to test or shipment
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace, propulsion, or precision mechanical assembly
- Demonstrated experience working on complex, high-reliability systems (engines, fluid systems, pressure systems, etc.)
- Demonstrated proficiency with torque tools and precision measurement equipment, cleanroom or controlled assembly environments
