Interim Financial Controller – DUK&I
Shape the financial backbone of a complex, fast‑moving business
We’re looking for a hands‑on, commercially aware Financial Controller who can bring order, rigour, and confidence to a multi‑entity, multi‑system environment. This is a role for someone who loves financial control, thrives on complexity, and knows how to build trust through accuracy, governance, and rock‑solid balance sheet discipline.
What will your day look like:
What you’ll lead
Own end‑to‑end financial control across DUK&I, ensuring true balance sheet integrity
Drive a smooth, accurate, and timely month‑end close, every time
Oversee and challenge balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring issues are resolved quickly
Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and group policies
Act as the go‑to contact for auditors, leading the year‑end audit with confidence
Strengthen governance across multiple finance systems and processes
Identify opportunities to improve controls, processes, and data quality
Support the development of a consistent finance operating model across the region
Lead, coach, and develop finance team members within your remit
