We are looking for a commercially driven, strategic leader to shape and scale our end-to-end growth engine. The Commercial Director is accountable for maximising demand capture, conversion, and lifetime value across all channels, bringing together marketing, digital demand, sales, and partner strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth.
This is a marketing-led commercial leadership role with clear accountability for sales performance. You will own the full commercial engine, strengthening inbound demand generation, improving conversion efficiency, and ensuring a seamless journey from first engagement through to revenue realisation.
You will also build scalable routes to market through partners and networks, while ensuring commercial ambition is fully aligned with operational capability and delivery capacity.
What that means day to day
You will be responsible for ensuring we are visible at the point of customer intent, chosen before the sales conversation begins, and consistently converting demand into high-quality revenue. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building capability, improving performance, and creating a repeatable, scalable commercial model.

Demand Generation & Digital Performance: Own and optimise the full digital demand engine across SEO, PPC, web journeys, and conversion pathways. Improve the customer journey from first touch to sales engagement, reducing friction and increasing efficiency across the funnel.

Brand & Market Positioning: Strengthen our market proposition across audiences and segments. Build brand authority and ensure marketing is campaign-led, targeted, and directly linked to commercial outcomes.
Consultant & Partner Ecosystem: Develop and grow a high-performing partner and consultant network. Position us as the certification partner of choice through structured engagement and scalable referral programmes.
Sales Leadership & Conversion Excellence: Lead a disciplined, high-performing sales function focused on efficient, repeatable conversion. Embed strong pricing, margin, and pipeline management practices.
Customer Growth & Retention: Drive expansion within existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell strategies. Strengthen account management to increase customer lifetime value and retention.
E-commerce & Digital Sales: Optimise e-commerce and digital sales channels, improving conversion, product packaging, and utilisation. Connect learning and training pathways to broader commercial growth.
New Product Commercialisation: Lead go-to-market for new standards and services, building early demand and establishing market presence quickly.
Strategic Outbound Growth: Define and target key segments and accounts, building focused outbound strategies supported by data, automation, and clear value propositions.
Leadership & Capability Building: Build and lead a high-performing commercial team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while driving cross-functional alignment.

- Proven success in marketing-led, revenue-accountable growth environments.
- Strong understanding of digital demand generation and conversion (SEO, PPC, CRO, lead journeys).
- Experience leading and improving inbound and outbound conversion teams (process, coaching, performance management).
- Background in regulated, compliance-led, or standards-driven industries.
- Track record of launching, scaling, or commercialising new propositions.
- Experience leading sales functions focused on inbound conversion and structured pipeline management.
