We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient receptionist who is ready to move into a role with additional facilities management responsibilities. You will relish 
a challenge and be highly organised, managing contractors and providing admin support.

You will ‘own’ the ground floor reception, taking pride in managing every visitor’s journey, ensuring an exemplary level of customer service is delivered, with the ultimate aim of leaving a lasting impression.

The building is ideally located at a modern science business park in the Cowley area of Oxford.

Hours
- 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Salary
- £30,186

Key Responsibilities

Managing reception
  • Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients’ expectations
  • Responsible for delivering an exceptional meet and greet service, ensuring a warm, friendly and professional welcome
  • Sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processes
  • Efficiently manage deliveries including couriers and post
The Building
  • You will quickly establish yourself as ‘the face of the building’ and the go to person for questions / queries
  • Work closely with the park-based Building Manager – confidently reporting building issues and helping manage to resolution
  • Manage contractors visiting the building to undertake regular maintenance, issuing keys as required and updating the progress / maintenance log
  • Managing and issuing access passes
  • Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge
  • Facilities management experience (desirable)
  • Personable with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
  • Proactive, self-motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask
  • Self sufficient and able to work independently during quieter periods
  • Excellent organisational skills along with outstanding communication and active
     listening skills
  • PC literate, with a working knowledge of MS Office and Canva
