Key Responsibilities
Our supportive, driven and friendly Claims & Enforcement Team are looking for a driven and enthusiastic communicator to join them. You will be supporting the team to deliver a first-class debt recovery service by issuing and managing legal proceedings in order to recover debts owed to client companies. You will engage with customers/debtors via telephone, correspondence and email in order to negotiate settlements and payment arrangements, assess affordability and vulnerabilities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience
- Previous experience of using case management systems
- Previous experience of working in a debt recovery role within Finance, Utilities or Local Authority (desirable)
Knowledge
An understanding and knowledge of legal and court processes and procedures relating to debt recovery
- Familiar with Lexcel and Data Protection Act compliance requirements (desirable)
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE standard grade A-C in Mathematics and English (or equivalent)
- ILEX Legal Executive Diploma Level 3 or above (desirable)
- Qualifying Law Degree and Legal Practice Course (desirable)
