We are looking for a detail-oriented Underwriting Specialist to support our group renewal and underwriting processes. In this role, you will assist with documentation, proposal preparation, reporting, and implementation tasks while working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and prepare documents for group renewals
- Assist with underwriting setup and implementation tasks
- Prepare and send proposals and reports to internal teams
- Coordinate with Account Management and Case Management
- Support team projects and process improvements
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance (preferred).
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Underwriting, health insurance, or benefits experience is a plus
