Job Overview

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to review and ensure the accuracy of payroll data, including timekeeping, deductions, bonuses, and final pay. The role handles payroll inquiries and resolves discrepancies promptly, maintains strict confidentiality of employee information, supports process improvements, and trains timekeeping staff to ensure compliance with payroll procedures. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviews and ensures the accuracy of DTR data for payroll processing.
  • Monitors and updates employee leave credits in coordination with HR and relevant departments.
  • Assists employees with payroll-related requests, including payslip concerns, deductions, and discrepancies.
  • Provides guidance to employees on proper filing of leaves, overtime, payroll adjustments, and related processes.
  • Sends timely and professional email responses to employee queries and requests related to payroll.
  • Conducts payroll roadshows and responds to employee inquiries and concerns regarding payroll policies, procedures, and computations.
  • Prepares final pay computations and coordinates with resigned employees regarding their last pay and any outstanding payroll matters.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Payroll experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and government regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
