High-Level Overview
The client is seeking an E&S and Gender Monitoring Expert to support the development, validation, and implementation of environmental, social, gender, and ESMS frameworks in alignment with international climate finance standards. Reporting to the appointed internal representative (TBC), the role combines policy finalization, due diligence structuring, and ongoing fund-level monitoring across three climate-focused funds, while also establishing the approach and standards for E&S assessment across all future investments. The engagement is driven by the need to evidence robust pre- and post-investment E&S practices to meet external compliance requirements, presenting an opportunity to shape institutional processes while ensuring consistency across a growing portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in DFI-aligned E&S systems, fund monitoring, and the ability to deliver structured, audit-quality outputs within defined timelines.
