We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Engineer B1  to join our Line Maintenance team within Fleet Engineering. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering safe, compliant and efficient aircraft maintenance activities, both at base and on deployed operations.

Along with your basic salary, additional benefits of an SR role include 
  • Shift pay £8,190
  • Call out Gratuity - £724.13 (paid quarterly)
  • SR Bounty - £3,618.28(paid at attestation and then 6 monthly thereafter)
  • Duty Pay £3.61 per hour
Potential Earnings £105,143 (based on 90 days away)

What you'll be doing

  • Certify aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in line with company approvals and regulatory requirements
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day management of engineers during deployed operations
  • Act as Line Station Manager when deployed, with responsibility for safety, welfare, discipline and performance
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Airtanker and military stakeholders at deployed locations
  • Ensure full compliance with SMS, Quality and Environmental Management Systems
  • Manage aircraft technical documentation, certification and defect reporting to Part CAMO
  • Lead and support short-notice deployments, AOG recoveries and flying tasks
  • Deputise for the Shift Supervisor when required
  • Mentor and develop engineers, supporting professional development within the team
  • Investigate audit findings and occurrences, applying root cause analysis and preventative actions
  • Ensure effective shift handovers and aircraft dispatch/arrival briefings
