Emergency Veterinarian Schedule
  • Full-time schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – Midnight 
  • 8-hour swing shifts only — no overnight shifts 
  • No weekend requirements 
  • Flexible scheduling available for experienced ER DVMs (14–16 shifts per 4-week block) 
As part of our established walk-in emergency hospital, you’ll see a diverse and rewarding emergency caseload while working alongside an experienced, highly trained veterinary team. Due to this model, you'll have the opportunity to see exciting ER cases and a chance to snuggle puppies and kittens! Emergency Veterinarian Compensation & Benefits

Compensation
  • Base salary: $120,000–$160,000 + production (no negative accrual)
  • Up to $50,000 sign-on bonus for experienced ER veterinarians 
  • Up to $10,000 relocation assistance

Emergency Veterinarian Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree 
  • Tennessee veterinary license preferred (licensure transfer assistance provided) 
  • Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and surgery
  • Strong communication and client service skills 
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for high-quality veterinary medicine
