Hi there, we’re Article. 👋 Since 2013, we have been redefining the furniture industry one sofa at a time, it’s not easy — it requires solving challenging, meaningful problems. This is where you come in, as a Retail Allocation Planner.
Our retail business is in an exciting stage of growth, with continued expansion of our physical store footprint and increasing operational complexity across the network. Based at our Vancouver headquarters, we are looking for a Retail Allocation Planner to help support and evolve our retail inventory allocation and replenishment capabilities as we open new brick-and-mortar stores across North America.
Why We Need You:
This role is responsible for executing and continuously improving inventory allocation and replenishment strategies across our retail store network, ensuring the right products are in the right stores at the right time to support sales performance, inventory productivity, and the customer experience.
Working closely with Planning, Merchandising, Retail, Visual Merchandising, Warehouse, and Logistics teams, this individual will manage day-to-day allocation execution while also helping build scalable processes, tools, and best practices for our growing retail business.
This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role (meaning you may not have all the information on hand you need, but you have the autonomy to build your processes) suited for someone who enjoys being a driver and taking full ownership of their work. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on retail allocation experience and has built or been a part of building processes in past roles.
