Job Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our team at the Linwood site for an initial period of 6 months, with the potential to be made permanent.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will provide an excellent level of customer service to all customers and handle customer enquiries in a timely manner. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with all customer enquiries in a professional manner 
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service to customers over the phone, email & letter 
  • Resolving customer queries/complaints to customers satisfaction 
  • Update all relevant systems with accurate information, including supplier portals 
  • Liaise with other areas of the business as and when required 
  • Keep customers updated with the status of their request 
  • Run customer/business reports as and when required
  • Working as part of a team and sharing workloads
  • Cleansing customer records to ensure information is up to date

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

We’re looking for someone who is customer-focused, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Essential:
  • Proven experience in a customer service role.
  • Strong phone handling and active listening skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • IT literate, with good knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work well under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Positive, approachable, and team-oriented.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
Desirable:
  • Experience in transport, customer service or previous office experience would be desirable but not essential
