About the role

As a Customer Development Team Leader, you will play a key role in shaping commercial strategy and ensuring profitable growth across categories and customers.

You will lead the connection between brand strategy, retail execution and customer relationships, translating business objectives into concrete actions across the market.

This role sits at the intersection of sales strategy, category development and retail partnership.


Key responsibilities

• Define customer prioritization and commercial plans, including 5P strategies and promotional guidelines
• Develop go-to-market strategies aligned with channel, shopper and consumer insights
• Translate commercial strategy into clear sales targets for distribution, volume, profitability and market share
• Lead joint business planning with key retail partners
• Drive retail marketing and customer engagement initiatives, including promotions and product launches
• Ensure strong in-store execution and “winning at the shelf” performance
• Monitor business performance and optimize investments across customers, channels and categories
• Act as a key link between the local market and regional hub, providing insights and influencing strategic support
• Lead and develop the commercial team, supporting talent growth and capability development


What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in commercial or sales roles, ideally within FMCG environments
• Strong understanding of retail dynamics, category management and customer development
• Experience working with P&L metrics and financial indicators (Gross-to-Net, margin, profitability)
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
• Leadership and stakeholder influence capabilities
• Intermediate to advanced English
