We're looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and an eagerness to learn to join our Transfers team in Guernsey.
Reporting to the Transfers Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible in arranging transfer of investments (shares/funds and cash) from one provider or company to another. You’ll play a key role in making sure that everything is processed correctly, on time, and in line with the policies and procedures.
Full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities
- Register physical shares both in and out of client’s own name and our nominee name.
- Monitor all group email boxes
- Run order books, tasks and reports within internal systems to monitor the settlement of transfers, liaising with the Client Services team/Execs and Counterparties accordingly
- Review daily stock reconciliations for all custodians
- Chase all outstanding transfers on a weekly basis
- Complete Fund Application Forms/Registration Forms and Stock Transfers forms, liaising with other departments including CDD and Compliance when required
- Assist with all testing for both fixes and upgrades
- Adhere to department procedures
- Any other reasonable duties as requested to support the business.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- An understanding of securities settlements would be advantageous
- Ability to obtain an understanding of new systems
- Ability to obtain an understanding of Custodian process
- Ability to follow procedures and make recommendations for improvement
- Understanding of banking and wealth management regulations across the UK and International jurisdictions of the Crown Dependencies
- Ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to recognise where technical development in Avaloq could promote more efficient ways of working
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and methodical approach
