Job Overview

The Site Administrator will support on-site level 1 and level 2 technology needs primarily in the local area, and nationally as needed. Responsibilities include initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of all first and second level issues that may arise at the location. Work in conjunction with the Helpdesk and Engineering teams as an on-site resource to help troubleshoot, implement, and deploy  needed systems and applications. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing support via telephone, email, in person, or remote-control support tools.

How You Will Help

  • Diagnose hardware, software, and basic networking issues across all communication channels
  • Basic account administration in various systems (e.g., Active Directory)
  • Install and upgrade computer components, software applications, and Operating Systems as needed
  • Troubleshoot and repair network and PC hardware/software problems for PC's, Laptops, printers/copiers and mobile devices for on-site and remote users
  • Manage service queues and route tickets to IT Engineering or other teams as appropriate
  • Complete site-specific requests that require on premise smart hands, which may include assistance with local Internet circuits, firewalls, network switches, wireless access points, servers, etc…
  • Troubleshoot network printing issues
  • Supporting, training and educating end-users on Microsoft Office 365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, etc…)
  • New user setup and orientation including installing and configuring workstations, software, telephone services, network printing, etc
  • Support of local Audio/Video equipment and setups, such as conference rooms
  • Team-player, work closely with the other IT team members, but also able to work independently, with little to no supervision
  • Willingness to learn new skills and expand responsibilities
  • Occasional travel may be required

What You Will Bring

  • 3-5 years of level 2 IT service administration experience
  • BS in IT or related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
  • User and computer account administration experience in Active Directory
  • In depth knowledge and experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 installed applications
  • Basic knowledge of server systems, software & hardware deployment tools, and networking protocols
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills - should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational & time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter
