Graphic Designer

Job Overview

Summary: a hands-on designer to champion and implement our visual direction, turning concepts into beautiful, effective multi-channel work.

We’re building our in-house creative studio – and we’re on the lookout for a Digital & Graphic Designer to join our team and help bring two much-loved Aussie brands to life across every channel.

You’ll be working across the organization, creating vibrant, engaging content and campaigns across digital, social, print, video, retail and packaging. Reporting to our Creative Design Manager, you’ll be our go-to designer for all things digital and animated, from Insta Reels to in-salon screens, EDMs to eComm assets.

The Role

This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll help deliver creative across both brands, formats and platforms. You’ll work closely with the Creative Design Manager and wider marketing team to produce content that’s always on-brand, on-brief, and engaging for our salon owners and end consumers.

You’ll also work in Canva Teams and help us get the most from the platform with efficient, collaborative workflows and templated assets where needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and deliver content across digital, social, video, email, web and print
  • Create animated GIFs, reels, short videos and motion content for social and retail
  • Support the rollout of campaigns, promotions and product launches
  • Design POS, in-salon screens, packaging, website banners and digital ads
  • Work with the Senior Creative Lead to ensure consistency across all touchpoints
  • Contribute to concept development and brainstorms for campaigns and content
  • Help manage our Canva Teams setup and contribute to smart, scalable design systems
  • Stay up to date with design trends and digital content formats
  • Bring fresh thinking, efficiency and energy to the creative process

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years’ experience in a similar digital design or content creation role
  • A strong portfolio that showcases digital, social and motion work
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop & After Effects)
  • Video editing and GIF/animation creation skills
  • A love for brand storytelling through visuals
  • Attention to detail, and the ability to design within guidelines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment
  • Great communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Experience in retail, beauty or lifestyle brands preferred
  • Familiarity with Meta and TikTok content formats and specs a bonus
