Global Data Services Lead

Job Overview

Your responsibilities:

  • Own and oversee Global Data Platforms (Power BI, AWS, Snowflake), ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing services

  • Monitor, analyse, and report cloud usage and costs, driving transparency and cost optimisation

  • Design and implement a global data service chargeback model aligned to IT financial governance

  • Standardise ways of working across global data teams, enabling consistent and efficient operations

  • Lead documentation and knowledge management for Global Data Operations

  • Deliver clear operational reporting and insights to senior stakeholders and local boards

  • Act as a key liaison between Global IT and Data Operations to support effective service delivery

  • Support and coordinate delivery of priority global data initiatives and programmes

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

  • Certifications or hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, and/or Power BI administration

  • Experience working in a global or multi-market environment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, cost management, and usage metrics (AWS, Snowflake)

  • Experience administering Power BI services, including licensing, access, and workspace governance

  • Knowledge of data operations, governance, and documentation best practices

  • Experience using cloud cost monitoring and reporting tools

  • Proven ability to analyse and report on platform usage and cost data

  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
