About the role

If you love taking an idea and driving it all the way through to a result that genuinely works, this is the role for you. As a Project Manager in our Change Management team, you’ll take ownership of delivering robust, efficient end-to-end solutions across a fast-paced supply chain business - from inception right through to completion.

This is a customer-facing role at the heart of the action. You’ll typically have around six projects on the go at once, working hand-in-hand with customers, Operations and IT to define scope, agree priorities and land change “right first time”, on time and to budget. You’ll build strong relationships across the whole business - Operations, Finance, Facilities, HR, Technology and beyond, and with external clients too.

Based at our site at Bradford with a competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 + car allowance, it’s a role with real variety, real visibility and the satisfaction of seeing your projects make a tangible difference. If you’re a confident, resilient self-starter who thrives on delivery, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

•     Leading the planning and implementation of projects, and owning multiple projects at once (around six on average)

•     Working closely with customers, ASCG Operations and IT to define project scope, goals and deliverables

•     Liaising with key stakeholders to agree and drive priorities, and defining project tasks and resource requirements

•     Supporting the scheduling and allocation of project resource, and tracking deliverables using the right tools

•     Owning project quality assurance, and constantly monitoring and reporting progress to all stakeholders

•     Presenting clear reports on progress, issues, risks and solutions

•     Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve the outputs, then evaluating and assessing the results

•     Identifying and embedding best-practice ways of working - processes, methodologies, tooling and governance

•     Travelling to locations across the UK and Europe to work with stakeholders as required

What we need from you

Your experience

•    Project management experience, ideally within the Supply Chain or Logistics sector

•     A track record of delivering business change projects in a fluid, fast-paced environment, with IT and operational dependencies

•     Experience delivering in-house-developed enterprise software solutions, and working with complex, highly integrated IT systems

•     Experience within an enterprise-level organisation, managing multiple concurrent projects

Your skills & qualifications

•     An outstanding communicator - written, verbal and with excellent presentation skills

•     Excellent planning, negotiation and influencing skills, with strong experience managing budgets and resource

•     Accreditation in a recognised project delivery methodology (PRINCE2, MSP or Scrum)

•     Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and SharePoint/Teams, plus exposure to agile delivery (Scrum or similar)

•     A degree or equivalent in a related discipline

The kind of person you are

•     An autonomous, resilient, credible and confident self-starter who can manage senior stakeholder and customer expectations

•     Approachable and team-oriented, with a can-do attitude and a genuine desire to go the extra mile

•     Comfortable working in an agile environment and switching smoothly between projects

Able to work well under pressure and prioritise effectively
