As a Lab Technician, you will play an important part in keeping the laboratory running smoothly. You will look after laboratory spaces and equipment, manage stock and deliveries, place orders and support the scientific team with day-to-day laboratory activities. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop new skills and build your career within a growing biotechnology company.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician Apprentice to join the 3D Bio-Tissues team. You will play an important part in keeping the laboratory organised and running smoothly while providing practical support to a team of passionate scientists.
You will gain hands-on experience and develop a broad range of practical and professional skills, including:
Maintaining laboratory spaces and equipment
Monitoring supplies and keeping accurate stock records
Placing orders and receiving and organising deliveries
Supporting scientists with day-to-day laboratory tasks
Following laboratory health and safety procedures
About You
You’re naturally organised, practical and interested in how a laboratory operates. You take pride in keeping things running smoothly, paying close attention to detail and completing tasks accurately and reliably. You understand that a successful laboratory depends on excellent technical and operational support.
You enjoy working in a structured environment and are comfortable following processes, maintaining high standards and keeping accurate records. You are patient, focused and happy completing routine tasks because you recognise the importance of consistency, cleanliness and organisation.
You take ownership of your responsibilities, welcome feedback and approach your work with a calm and methodical mindset. You are comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
Apprenticeship Eligibility
To apply for this apprenticeship, you must:
✔️ Be 16 or over ✔️ Not be in full-time education ✔️ Havelived in the UK for at least 3 years ✔️ Have the right to work in the UK
Apprenticeships are designed to provide new knowledge, skills and behaviours, so applicants should not already hold a Level 3, degree or higher qualification in a closely related subject, or have significant experience in the same field.
