Temporary Stock Assistant Matalan Guernsey

** This is a temporary role for 3 - 5 weeks commencing 4 September 2026**

This will be based at the Ferryspeed depot, Saint-Sampson
The hours will be 37.5 per week,  Monday to Friday (8.30 - 5pm) with one hour unpaid lunch break

This role will be to assist our team at Matalan Guernsey to prepare for one of the busiest periods of the year, stocktake. 
As part of this role, you will be assisting with scanning and sorting the stock. 
Stock must be counted and scanned in an efficient and precise and accurate manner to ensure that stock levels are captured correctly. 

This role will be based at the Ferryspeed Warehouse.

You will be fully responsible for the use of scanning guns to count and sort stock.

You will need to help move and lift the stock to a reasonable height for counting. 
The Store Manager will be present for training and support.

Dress code for the role is casual as the warehouse may be dusty
