About the role:
The Project Manager at Sun King will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects for our solar products, including but not limited to solar lanterns, solar home systems and inverters. You will manage whole new product development(NPD) and related resources to ensure the newly developed product can be delivered to mass production(MP) on time and smoothly.

About the role:
The Project Manager at Sun King will play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects for our solar products, including but not limited to solar lanterns, solar home systems and inverters. You will manage whole new product development(NPD) and related resources to ensure the newly developed product can be delivered to mass production(MP) on time and smoothly.
What you will be expected to do
- Manage projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Coordinate internal/external resources for the flawless execution of projects, ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Developing project scopes and goals, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, develop a detailed project plan to track progress, evaluate project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques, use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks, report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are
- Bachelor’s and above degree, major in technology and science.
- Over five years of project management experience in the consumer electronics industry
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in product design and development
- Experience in developing and managing integrated, multi-track performance for battery/inverter and other consumer projects
- Strong attention to deadlines, risk management, and budgetary guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- PMP / PRINCE 2 certification is a plus
