 Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND? Whether you’re an experienced SEN professional, teacher, TA or tutor, your skills and experience could make a life-changing difference. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing 1:1 or 2:1 educational support to children and young people in their homes or specialist settings in the Somerset area.
  • Sessions run during the school day (term time only) and typically last 3 to 5 hours.
  • Working flexibly as part of a compassionate, expert-led team that values you, your skills and creative input.
  • Engaging learners with Special Educational Needs or Social, Emotional and  Mental Health Needs. 
  • Delivering creative sessions tailored to each learner’s needs and interests.
  • Supporting young people with additional needs
  • Helping learners build confidence and achieve meaningful outcomes at their own pace.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Teachers, tutors, teaching assistants, SEN specialists and other education professionals.
  • Those with Primary, Secondary, Post-16 or specialist SEND experience 
  • Professionals with experience or interest in working with students with autism, communication needs, and learning difficulties.
  • Candidates with a minimum of 2 consistent weekdays of availability.
  • Professionals with up-to-date understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
