Job Overview

Purpose of the Role

To deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment on Level 3 Photography programmes, supporting learners to achieve outstanding outcomes and progress successfully to higher education, apprenticeships and employment.
The post holder will inspire learners through engaging teaching, industry-relevant projects and professional creative practice.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

• Deliver outstanding teaching across Level 3 Photography programmes.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet awarding body requirements.
• Develop learners' technical, creative and critical understanding of photography.
• Support learners to develop professional portfolios and exhibition work.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to motivate and challenge learners.
• Promote high standards of attendance, punctuality and behaviour.
• Integrate industry practices, live briefs and progression opportunities into teaching.
• Maintain accurate assessment and tracking records.
