Our team works together to provide high-quality care while making sure every client and patient feels welcomed and supported. We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude—even on busy days
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Answering a high volume of phone calls and assisting clients with questions
- Greeting clients and creating a welcoming experience
- Checking patients in and out - Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Responding to emails and client messages
- Taking accurate messages for our medical team
- Creating and updating patient and client profiles
- Processing payments and assisting with account questions
- Communicating with clients regarding medications, records, appointments, and follow-ups
- Maintaining an organized and clean reception and lobby area
- Assisting the veterinary team and other departments as needed
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets
Preferred Qualifications
- **Veterinary hospital or veterinary receptionist experience is required**
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Comfortable answering phones and communicating with clients in person, by phone, and electronically
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Compassionate and comfortable interacting with dogs, cats, and their owners -
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or emotional situations
