Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Nipromec Oy Ltd is an international consulting and engineering company founded in 2003. We offer design and consulting services for multiple industries with emphasis on energy and construction. Nipromec offices in Finland are located in Rauma, Turku, Pori, Tampere, Mikkeli and Helsinki. Group has offices also in Malmö in Sweden and Erlangen in Germany. 

We are now looking for a SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER for a client project in Espoo for a fixed-term or permanent employment. Working hours are 37,5h/week.  

Main tasks include:

• Detailed design of industrial electrical systems and qualitative outcomes

• Calculations of grounding and short-circuit

• System sizing and understanding of processes for critical review

• Cable layouts and busbars

• Other Development activities

We expect:

• Over 10 years of experience in designing and procuring electrical systems for energy plants/industrial facilities

• Knowledge of high and low voltage systems (TN-S and IT)

• Familiarity with high and low voltage standards and good installation practices

• Familiarity with high and low voltage equipment (GIS/AIS, Transformers, VFC...)

• Efficient use of software such as Autodesk electrical and various calculation programs.

• Willingness to work in Espoo
