Assistant Cook

We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Cook to join our nursery team. In this role, you will support our Nursery Cook and step into their position when needed as well as supporting the Harbourside Cafe

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in a busy school or nursery kitchen

• Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations

• Understanding of food allergens and COSHH guidelines

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude, reliability, and trustworthiness

• Ability to manage daily tasks with a flexible approach to prioritizing workloads

• Good rapport with children

Position Details:

• Part-time: Monday – Friday, 27.5 hrs week (52 weeks a year)

• Starting salary: £17,488.90 (based on 27.5hr week)
