About us:
Magle Group is a dynamic organization within the life sciences sector, dedicated to bringing life-changing products to patients in need. We are now looking for an analytical Chemist to strengthen our QC Team, for our Danish entity, Magle Biopolymers, covering two sites in Hårlev and Køge.

About the role

Our QC department consists of five experienced laboratory technicians who together are responsible for the analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, as well as environmental and microbiological analyses. The team is based in Hårlev and supports production at both the Hårlev and Køge sites. The QC organization is led by a QC Director based in Malmö, Sweden.

As an Analytical Chemist, you will work with a variety of analytical techniques, with a particular focus on HPLC analyses for molecular weight distribution of our biopolymers, such as dextran. The role also includes method development, method validation, equipment qualification, and calibration, as well as the writing and management of quality documentation.

You will also actively contribute to our efforts to achieve and maintain ISO and GMP standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

 

Role Responsibilities

As an Analytical Chemist with us, you will take a central role in our QC team, with the opportunity to work with advanced analytical methods and contribute to quality assurance throughout the production chain. Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Performing laboratory analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, with a particular focus on HPLC analyses for molecular weight distribution.

  • Documenting and reporting results accurately in both digital and paper-based systems to ensure full traceability.

  • Reviewing and verifying analytical data to ensure the highest possible quality and reliability.

  • Participating in method development and performing validations, equipment qualifications, and calibrations, with the opportunity to influence and improve laboratory workflows.

  • Writing and revising quality documentation, such as SOPs, protocols, and analytical methods, as well as managing change requests and deviations in a structured manner.

  • Staying up to date with current regulatory requirements and contributing to ensuring that our operations comply with applicable analytical standards.

  • Actively driving improvement initiatives and developing laboratory processes for more efficient and precise analyses.

 

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biomedicine, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in laboratory work and analytical methods.

  • Good computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.

  • Excellent Danish and English skills, both written and spoken.

  • Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and with a strong focus on quality.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a willingness to take a central role in a QC team.

  • Positive attitude and curiosity to develop within the field.

  • Experience in QC work, particularly HPLC analyses, is an advantage.
