Job Overview

Join Our Team as a Quality Engineer

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Quality Engineer to strengthen our quality and management systems across both of our Business Units — Advanced ALD and Semiconductor ALD.

In this role, you’ll report to the Quality Manager and work closely with the Operational Excellence & Quality team, drive continuous improvement on the shop floor, and contribute to Beneq’s commitment to operational excellence, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

If you enjoy making systems work for people (not the other way around), solving problems pragmatically, and collaborating across functions, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As our Quality Engineer, you will:

  • Take strong role in internal audits, coordinating corrective actions and reporting.
  • Run QEHS customer surveys and compile QEHS and maintenance reports from multiple sources.
  • Deliver training for new processes and practices and quality onboarding.
  • Co-develop the quality and management system with the QEHS team to meet stakeholder expectations — from customers and authorities to our own employees.
  • Work closely with both Business Units — including time on the shop floor — to keep improvements practical, effective, and impactful.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager and Operational Excellence team to support quality awareness, process development, and sustainability initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines technical understanding with a continuous improvement mindset — a doer who’s not afraid to get involved and make things happen.

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Quality, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: Background in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in quality, EHS, or process development.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 management systems and related practices.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S.
  • Hands-on experience with auditing, CAPA, or risk assessment processes is a plus.
  • Strong Office 365 skills (Power BI a plus).
  • Experience with data-driven improvement or reporting (e.g., Power BI, Excel dashboards) is an advantage.
  • Solid language and communication skills — English is our working language.
  • A practical, hands-on mindset — comfortable being out with teams, not only behind a screen.
  • Ability to read technical drawings is an advantage.
  • SAP experience is a plus.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Real ownership in shaping how QEHS operates day-to-day.
  • Close collaboration with production and cross-functional teams in both Business Units.
  • A culture that values continuous improvement, clear standards, and practical results.
  • Opportunities to train others, share knowledge, and see your improvements stick on the shop floor.
  • Work as part of a skilled, forward-thinking Operational Excellence & Quality team that’s helping Beneq meet the highest standards for safety, sustainability, and performance.
