General Ledger Accountant Specialist
Job Overview
Our Shared Services Center provides a broad area of services: finance and HR related, account and segment support, cockpit and reporting, sales and marketing campaigns, research and presentations, accelerators, customer experience management, data government, as well as other functions.
Primary Functions and Tasks:
Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing, recording, and accounting of financial transactions, including month-end close activities such as account clearing and reconciliations.
Perform fixed asset and lease accounting, ensuring timely execution of accounting entries and related activities in line with month-end closing deadlines.
Handle intercompany postings and reconciliations to maintain accuracy across entities.
Prepare and post regular month-end provisions for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Review AP invoice postings to ensure correctness and compliance with accounting standards.
Execute bank posting activities accurately and on time.
Act as a point of contact for junior AP/AR team members on GL accounting matters, providing guidance and support.
Prepare and deliver accounting and financial reports and provide documentation required by internal stakeholders or external auditors.
Support the regular update of process documentation and actively identify process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
We are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (e.g., Diploma from ASE or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting activities.
Previous experience in Finance Operations processes (1–2 years).
Prior experience working with SAP is a strong plus.
Familiarity with innovation tools and trends in finance operations.
English: Proficient (C1–C2) – mandatory.
Strong communication skills with both local and international teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
