Creative Lead

Job Overview

This role is ideal for a hands-on creative with 5+ years’ experience agency or client-side who enjoys turning briefs into impactful campaigns. You’re comfortable producing much of the creative yourself — including video editing and design — while coordinating contractors when needed to ensure every touchpoint is on-brand and built to perform.

You’ll be responsible for lifting and maintaining creative quality, brand consistency, and user experience across the entire member journey — from ads and landing pages through to events, the member portal.

What We Offer:

  • Remote Contract Work: Enjoy the flexibility and autonomy of working entirely from home

  • Attractive Salary: Attractive salary reflective of senior-level capability

  • Supportive Team Culture: You’ll be part of a driven, high-performing team that values clarity, ownership, and collaboration. We stay connected through regular online check-ins and come together in person multiple times per year.

  • Start Date: 1 April 2026 or whenever you are ready

  • Travel Opportunities: Attend 2–3 Australia-based member events per year

  • Growth and Development: We invest in leadership training for our whole team and believe in helping people develop and shine in their areas of strength

About the Role:

This is a senior, strategic creative role. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and hands-on execution, while orchestrating quality across all creative touch points.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creative Strategy & Execution

  • Translate marketing strategy, brand positioning, and campaign briefs into conversion-focused creative assets that drive action and resonate with FOA’s farming audience

  • Design and produce ad creative, landing pages, lead magnets, email assets, and campaign collateral to a high standard

  • Apply CRO and UX thinking to all creative output - assets must perform (drive conversions, reduce friction, improve engagement) as well as communicating the message in an attention grabbing and engaging way

  • Develop and maintain creative templates and systems that reduce reliance on ad-hoc Canva work across the team

2. Brand Consistency & Quality Control

  • Improve and maintain brand consistency across the full member journey: ads → landing pages → events → member portal → member interaction touchpoints

  • Establish and document FOA’s creative standards, style guide, and asset library

  • Quality-control all creative output leaving the business - whether produced internally or by contractors

3. Video Direction & Quality

  • Own video editing quality for both short-form (social, ads, reels) and long-form (podcast, webinars, event content) - ideally by editing directly if you are skilled in this area, or by directing and quality-controlling external editors

  • Brief, manage, and review the work of specialist video editing contractors where applicable

  • Lift the overall standard of FOA’s video and audio output

4. Event & Member Collateral

  • Design and produce event collateral for TOP Producers workshops, Deep Dive events, online workshops and other related prospecting and member events - including slide decks, printed materials, signage, and digital assets

  • Improve the design and user experience of member-facing resources, LMS content, and member touchpoints

5. Contractor & Stakeholder Management

  • If required, brief and manage a small bench of specialist contractors (video editors, web developers, overflow design) where execution sits outside your direct skillset

  • Collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders - marketing, member success, sales, coaching, operations, and leadership - to deliver creative that serves both brand and commercial objectives

What You Bring:

Essential

  • 5+ years’ experience in a digital agency or client side

  • Long-form and short-form video editing

  • Understanding of funnel-based marketing and how creative supports each stage of the buyer journey

  • HTML / CSS capability

  • Kajabi platform familiarity

  • Strong design fundamentals and creative direction ability

  • Conversion and UX instinct - understanding of how creative drives action, not just aesthetics

  • Ability to brief, manage, and hold contractors accountable for quality and turnaround

  • Comfort working across multiple stakeholders with competing priorities

  • Calm, strong communicator - aligned with FOA’s values: Caring, Leaders, Passionate, Innovative, Challenging

Highly Desirable

  • Agricultural or rural sector experience, or demonstrated ability to deeply learn a niche audience

  • Experience in coaching or membership-based businesses

You must also be set up to work effectively from home, with reliable internet and a professional workspace.
