Accounting Manager (with Greek)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting Manager to take ownership of multi-jurisdictional financial oversight within a complex international group. This role involves close exposure to senior stakeholders, cross-border entities, and strategic financial decision-making, within a professional, stable, and collaborative on-site environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and supervise accounting records for group entities registered in Cyprus, BVI, Bahamas, Marshall Islands, and UAE

  • Review and prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts

  • Oversee intercompany reconciliations, ensuring balances are accurate, supported, and regularly cleared

  • Review internal financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements

  • Liaise with external auditors for the preparation and completion of audited financial statements

  • Review VAT calculations and VAT returns prior to submission

  • Oversee preparation and submission of direct and indirect tax returns (TD1, TD4, TD7, TD614)

  • Review tax computations for temporary tax, GHS, and SDC obligations, primarily for Cyprus entities with rental income

  • Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts for Board-level presentation

  • Review and oversee monthly payroll reports and related statutory filings

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, and internal accounting policies

  • Provide hands-on accounting support during audits, peak periods, and complex transactions

  • Support management with ad-hoc accounting projects, financial analysis, and process improvements

Requirements

  • ACCA or ACA qualification (mandatory)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Fluent Greek and English (C1) - written and spoken

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate, fiduciary, or group environment

  • Proven experience with BVI entities, including accounting, reporting, and audit requirements

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, tax compliance, and payroll

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-entity and multi-jurisdictional structures

  • Working knowledge of SAP, Cycom Payroll, and CaseWare

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong MS Office proficiency

  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
