Assistant Cook

We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Cook to join our nursery team. In this role, you will support our Nursery Cook and step into their position when needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in a busy school or nursery kitchen

• Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations

• Understanding of food allergens and COSHH guidelines

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude, reliability, and trustworthiness

• Ability to manage daily tasks with a flexible approach to prioritizing workloads

• Good rapport with children

• Ability to work additional hours in the cooks absence

Position Details:

• Part-time: Monday – Friday

• Starting salary: £15,899.00 (working 25hrs week)
