Job Overview

Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Programme “Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria–Serbia" is a cross-border cooperation programme aimed at strengthening territorial cohesion between Bulgaria and Serbia. The programme focuses on enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), promoting integrated regional development, and improving disaster resilience. Key areas of intervention include technological modernisation, sustainable tourism, and joint actions for disaster risk prevention and response.

The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities and tasks:

  • support the communication team and project officers in preparing news items, social media posts, newsletters, and other materials showcasing project achievements and Programme activities;

  • support in updating the website, creating visual or written content, and contributing to outreach events or online campaigns;

  • promote the projects, summarize and share updates to stakeholders and (potential) project partners;

  • compile success stories, capture photos, or record video testimonials;

  • conduct and process surveys, interviews, or focus group discussions and draw statistical summaries.


Other information:

Financial support of: 34.60 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria.

Start and duration: September, for 6 months.

Languages*: English (B2)

*Please be aware that the languages mentioned are the minimum level of command required.
