Junior Contract Engineer – Berg Propulsion
Do you want to help develop the marine products of the future? Berg Propulsion is looking for a Junior Contract Engineer who wants to drive projects from contract signing to delivery and commissioning, contributing to high-quality solutions in propellers, thrusters, and maneuvering systems.
You will be a central part of our international team, coordinating between sales, production, suppliers, and customers. The role combines technical responsibility with project management and social interaction – here you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a broad and exciting role.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, hydrodynamics, or a related field.
- Recent graduates or candidates with some work experience are welcome.
Knowledge
- Basic understanding of technical systems, drawings, and project workflows.
- Knowledge of project and order management, documentation, and follow-up.
- Interest in the marine industry and technical innovations.
Experience
- Practical experience from project work or technical roles, e.g., thesis projects, trainee programs, or summer jobs.
- Some experience in customer interaction or internal projects is a plus.
- Interest in taking responsibility for projects and following them through from start to delivery.

Other Requirements / Practical Conditions
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work from our office/factory on Öckerö/Hönö.
- Willingness to travel for customer and shipyard visits.
