Production Lead
Job Overview
To ensure end-to-end production readiness and execution, from development to mass production, by owning manufacturability readiness, stabilizing production performance across multiple sites, and ensuring strong cross-functional alignment to meet demand, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
What you will do:
Own manufacturability readiness across development phases, including DFMA review, pilot build, and handover to mass production.
Ensure readiness of production process, manpower, and tooling prior to pilot and mass production.
Identify manufacturing risks early and drive mitigation actions with Engineering, Quality, and Planner.
Ensure pilot output meets defined criteria (quality, yield, process stability) before mass production release
Own overall production performance (output, delivery, quality, efficiency).
Translate demand into executable production plans and ensure consistent execution across sites.
Allocate manpower, capacity, and tooling resources based on priority and demand fluctuation.
Lead production escalation and ensure timely resolution.
Ensure cross-functional execution alignment to maintain stable and predictable production output.
Monitor daily and weekly production KPIs and drive corrective actions.
You will fit in this job if you:
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Candidates with other engineering backgrounds may be considered, as long as they have strong hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and production execution.
Solid understanding of DFMA, pilot build, and mass production transition.
Proven ability to manage multi-site production operations.
Strong problem-solving, escalation handling, and cross-functional communication skills.
Able to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions.
Experience as a production lead for at least 1 year, a plus point if you have led a production line with CNC milling, table saw, and assembly.
