ELV Pre Sales Engineer
Job Overview
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ELV Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team in Egypt, supporting the operations of Samir Group in Saudi Arabia through an offshore delivery model. Based at our Egypt office, the successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, customers, vendors, and technology partners in KSA to design and develop ELV, Security, AV, and ICT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
• Design and develop ELV and low current system solutions including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, BMS, Structured Cabling, Networking, and Integrated Security Systems.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, compliance statements, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with vendors and technology partners for solution design, pricing, and technical support.
• Support tendering activities, bid submissions, and technical evaluations.
• Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
• Prepare cost estimations and support commercial proposal development.
• Review project specifications and identify compliance gaps and risks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry technologies, products, and best practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in ELV, Low Current Systems, Security Systems, AV Solutions, ICT Infrastructure, or System Integration environments.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Networking, BMS, and Integrated Security Systems.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, tender responses, BOQs, compliance matrices, and technical documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
Preferred Certifications:
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
• CCNA
• Vendor certifications in AV, Security, Networking, or ELV technologies
