Research Analyst - Freelance
Job Overview
Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Freelance Research Analyst to facilitate our full-scale data management workflow. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of reports through rigorous data coding, quality checks, and charting. You will apply your understanding of media analysis methodologies to filter relevant data and build robust coding templates.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management: Facilitate end-to-end workflows, including data coding, quality assurance, and charting.
Media Analysis: Apply sound knowledge of industry methodologies, systems, and procedures to analyze media content.
Process Setup: Build and maintain coding templates and develop a deep familiarization with specific account briefs.
Insight Generation: Summarize key issues and themes from media articles while filtering for the most relevant data.
Technical Requirements:
Advanced Excel: Mastery of Excel is required; proficiency in VBA and other programming tools is highly preferred.
Analytical Skills: Excellent reading comprehension and the ability to synthesize complex media data.
Operational Excellence: Proven ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision
