Role Overview:

The Workforce Strategy and Planning Senior Manager drives the strategy, design, and execution of workforce planning across MVH Europe, ensuring the right talent is in the right roles at the right time. Acting as a strategic enabler of clinical and operational growth, this role translates workforce insights into actionable levers that enhance business performance.

With strong analytical capabilities and business acumen, the role partners with stakeholders to assess workforce mix, productivity, and clinic-level economics, identifying opportunities to optimize resource allocation and support revenue generation.

As a cross-functional thought partner, the role shapes data-driven workforce strategies and operational plans that connect talent acquisition, capability development, and succession planning to sustainable business outcomes. By aligning workforce decisions with financial impact, this role ensures improved service capacity, organizational agility, and long-term value creation across MVH Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

Workforce Planning Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and lead MVH Europe’s integrated workforce planning strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth, transformation efforts, and capability priorities.
  • Design workforce models to address current gaps and anticipate future needs across regions, roles, and functions.
  • Act as a workforce planning thought partner to senior leadership, P&O, Finance, and Operations.

Data-Driven Planning & Analytics

  • Analyze workforce data to identify talent risks, skill gaps, trends, and optimization opportunities.
  • Build dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to inform leadership decision-making.
  • Collaborate with P&OIS, Digital, and Analytics teams to embed workforce intelligence into systems and platforms.

Scenario Modeling & Forecasting

  • Use scenario planning to model workforce responses to market shifts, organizational change, or strategic pivots.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations for staffing, mobility, restructuring, and capacity building.

Talent Plan Integration

  • Connect workforce planning with talent acquisition, learning & development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with Talent, P&O Business Partners, and Leadership Development teams to ensure implementation readiness.

Governance & Execution

  • Establish governance standards, tools, and operating rhythms for consistent workforce planning practices across clusters.
  • Monitor progress against workforce plans, conduct reviews, and adjust for business changes or external dynamics.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Act as a trusted advisor to country and functional leaders on workforce-related decisions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment through workshops, executive updates, and data storytelling.
  • Represent MVHE in global or cross-banner workforce planning forums.

Education & Professional Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree or certification in Workforce Planning, P&O Analytics, or Business Strategy.

Knowledge / Experience:

  • 8+ years in workforce planning, P&O analytics, or strategic P&O roles.
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency with workforce planning and analytics tools (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Power BI).
  • Experience in multi-country, matrixed, and dynamic business environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and data storytelling skills.
